English 112 is a two-semester course, which focuses on the outcomes of the APEF/ELA curriculum. The outcomes for the 112 English are divided into three major categories: speaking and listening, reading and viewing, writing and representing. These strands will be the focus in the planning, implementation, and assessment of the course. Within the context of this course, students will be interacting with a broad selection of written, visual, and spoken texts from various genres. Students will demonstrate their progress through a variety of assignments including journal entries, interviews, surveys, discussion forums, speeches, essays, research reports, narrative, exposition, drama, etc.
